The car and I were in another accident Sunday Feb 5 with far more damage to the car. This has been reported to Columbus Police (their report 120097482. I also called Sentry and filed claim 92a283845 yesterday afternoon. Sentry indicated they would assign a claims investigator for this accident but did not do so immediately and so far I have heard nothing.
I am sharing this information with you to allow the reports to be linked if appropriate and because damage from the first accident will be hard to identify given the second. At this point the car is not drivable.

I will be canceling the check there is a letter that was sent out today that must be signed before we can send you out the check. The letter is called the Ohio parts letter, the letter pertains to the fact that the estimate was created using non original manufacturer replacement parts. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you, but now I am confused. On the drive back from Carstar, I got a call from someone at Sentry saying they had seen the estimate and would be sending me a document to sign before a check could be issued. My phone log shows the number as 563-459-5000 from Davenport IA at 10:39 AM (EST). Does this make sense to you?
I will wait for Monday before following up with them.
I would give them until Monday and then call if you do not hear from them. I received the appraisal information from Carstar, I have sent out a check at this time to pay for your repairs, if State Farm does come forward and accept liability just write void and send in back in.
